A dispute occurs when both parties are involved in a transaction and do not agree on some aspect of it.

To cancel the operation, you must open a dispute, this operation can be carried out after 30 minutes have elapsed since the smart contract was created.

Once raised, in the same app, you must explain your intention to cancel. You must communicate with your counterpart to explain your reasons. After opening the dispute, in the same app, you must attach all the evidence that supports the case so that the jury can review the information. Then, the jury will analyze the case and release the USDC to the rightful holder of the same.

It is important to emphasize that the maximum dispute resolution period is 24 hours, which may be reduced based on the evidence provided. However, there are circumstances where a grace period is granted to your counterpart to verify that the attached information is indeed valid or to request more evidence if necessary.
